Did You Know?

Step back in time for a week-long celebration of Gilbert’s western heritage and a salute to the community spirit that has thrived for more than a half a century. Contestants come from all over the country to participate in Jackpot Roping, Barrel Racing and the Budweiser IPRA Rodeo. In addition to Rodeo Park, Gilbert Days offers an old-town parade and carnival, complete with rides, games, prizes, and an abundance of mouth-watering concession stands.

There are nearly thirty public parks in Peoria. While the majority of these are less then ten acres in size, Peoria is also home to Lake Pleasant Regional Park, covering over 23,000 acres and offering residents and visitors a great range of outdoor activities to enjoy.
